Our Purpose:

The purpose of First Baptist Church of Martin is to bring honor and glory to God the Father through the empowerment of the indwelling Holy Spirit as it reaches the lost with the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.  It seeks to accomplish this purpose by providing a nurturing environment in which each individual may grow through Bible Study, worship, and fellowship and by promoting concern for the spiritual, emotional, social and physical needs of its community and of the world.
