who we are

First Baptist Church is made up of ordinary, every day people...people just like you! People who face challenges and problems, who experience happy and sad times, who celebrate victories, and who grieve over defeats.

But our confidence and our hope is in Jesus Christ. He gives us grace when we least deserve it, and He fills our hearts with abundant joy. It isn't joy based on circumstance or situation, but on our relationship in Him.

As members of First Baptist Church, we are Believing in Jesus and His Word as the foundation of our faith and fellowship which results in our Belonging to His church for friendship, comfort, accountability and strength, and our Becoming like Jesus Christ in our walk, work, worship, and witness.
