Servant Singers Mission Trip

                    SERVANT SINGERS

As part of the Music Ministry, Servant Singers is a group of college students who meet each Wednesday night from 8:20 - 9:00 p.m. They lead in worship at church at least once per month, sing at the annual Homecoming luncheon, and lead in the annual Valentainer and Spring Mission Trip.

In February, the Servant Singers present a dinner theater called the Valentainer.  The Valentainer involves music and drama developed by the students.  It also serves as a fund raiser for their spring mission trip.

The week after UTM's graduation is set aside for the Servant Singer Mission trip. The mission trip offers special opportunuities for ministry, fellowship, and spreading the gospel.  In past years, our students have traveled to Detroit, Michigan; Bartlett, Tennessee (Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes); and overseas to Ukraine.  For three of the past four years they have worked with the Friendship Baptist Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
