Youth

FBC Martin Youth Ministry exists to help middle and high school students live the Great Commandment and fulfill the Great Commission.

  • To equip students with Scripture: helping them to see how the entire Bible points to Jesus Christ and the gospel, and to live in obedience to Jesus Christ in service through His church (Bible).
  • To make disciples who are disciple makers (Discipleship).
  • To train students to live on mission for God and practice evangelism as a part of their everyday life (Evangelism).
  • To teach students about missions and provide opportunities for students to serve on the mission field within their community, nation, and world (Missions).
  • To foster fellowship and love among our students that reflects Jesus Christ (Fellowship).

  • Refuge

Refuge is our Wednesday night service for 6th -12th graders. We meet on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:45 in the ministry center. Our service features times of games, worship, preaching, and small groups. To better accommodate our middle and high school students, we have a separate time of preaching and small groups for them. The high schoolers meet for a time of preaching while the middle schoolers are in small groups, and the middle schoolers meet for a time of preaching while the high schoolers are in small groups. We’d love for you to come and join us on Wednesday nights!

  • D - Groups

A D-Group is a small group of people (3-5 counting the leader) of the same gender who will meet together weekly (Sunday nights at 6). The purpose of a D-Group is to make disciples who will then go on to make disciples. It is not a teaching time. It is simply a group of people coming together to share what God has been teaching them as they read the Word of God. The goal of a D-Group is to foster community, accountability, and multiplication. Once the D-Group ends, the goal is for those in the group to split up and seek out their own groups to reach more people.

  • SNAC Fellowships

Our SNAC (Sunday Night After Church) Fellowships are a great time for our students to get together and hang out for a time of fellowship at a different home each month. We have two different SNAC Fellowships every month (one for the high schoolers and one for the middle schoolers) with the exception of May and August. Be sure to check out the calendar to see when they are!
