Young Musicians
Children who are the year before starting kindergarten through the fifth grade have fun while learning more about music and how it can be used for God's glory. Our goal is to teach children to serve the Lord with singing, to know He is God, and to praise Him with a heart of thanksgiving. Our graded choirs begin each year in the fall and continue throughout the school year, meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday nights. During the summer months we have a combined "Summer Kid's Choir."

Cornerstone is our youth choir for those in the sixth through eighth grades. This active group meets in the choir room each Sunday at 6:00 p.m. and sings twice a month during the evening services. They also present a musical each year, often during the Christmas season, as well as participate in other special events throughout the year. |
Testify is comprised of ninth through twelveth graders. This is a strong group of singers who meet in the choir room each Sunday at 4:30 p.m. followed by a snack supper at 5:30 p.m. They generally serve as worship leaders on the 1st and 3rd Sunday night of each month. They also are a major part of each summer's youth mission trip presenting special music along the way.

College
The Servant Singers are a group of college students who meet each Wednesday night from 8:15-9:00 p.m. during the school year. They lead in worship at least once per month. In February they present a dinner theater called the Valentainer which also serves as a fund raiser for their spring mission trip. The week after UTM's spring graduation is set aside for a special opportunity of ministry. In the past few years they have been involved with the Children's Home in Memphis, TN, and the Friendship Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Adult
The First Baptist Church Choir involves adults college age and older. The choir rehearses each Wednesday from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. There is one large rehearsal for all. However, on most Sundays, the choir divides into two groups in order to be worship leaders either at the 8:30 or 11:00 a.m. service. This group is a primary worship leadership group and presents special programs at Christmas, Easter, and other times throughout the church year.
